Welcome to Casa Punta Lara
A cozy villa on the cliff edge at Punta Lara with wonderful sea views.
Among Europe's absolute best climate
Unlike many exploited holiday resorts with tall hotels, skyscrapers and nightclubs, you get a really cozy feeling here with beautiful palm trees, house walls and flower groups. The population lives a traditional life, many in fishing and are not as tourist-oriented as other major tourist cities. The people of Nerja are perceived as extremely friendly and welcoming. You often have time for a small chat and do not stress through life. If you hear a car noise, it's more about cheering for a friend than stressing in traffic.
Europe Balcony
For those of you who are historically interested, you can see the famous benchmark "Europe Balcony", a medieval defense facility. Nerja has been inhabited by Romans, Carthaginians, Moors and Phoenicians. Traces of these you can find a little where to go.
45 minutes from Malaga Airport
From Malaga you can take a taxi, take a bus or rent a car. It is recommended to rent a car to explore the fantastic environment in and around Nerja. With the beach a throw away you will find cozy pubs and restaurants as well as a mini-market. For larger purchases, a trip to the supermarket is located just over 2 km away.
Unspoilt village
Many cities along the Sun Coast (Costa del Sol) are worn and over-exploited. Nerja has managed to maintain the traditional culture and tranquility. Here you as a tourist can be a real tourist in a genuine village without hotel complexes and lots of vendors.
The buildings have obviously expanded, but even here, this is done in the traditional style with low houses to keep the city in a genuine, well-kept state.
